Autism Urban Connections Inc.
about us
We began as Autism Urban Connections Support Group in January of 2015., after discovering the lack of supports, education, and resources available in the African American, minority, and economically disadvantaged communities.
We are now Autism Urban Connections Inc., since September 2018, the first and only African American, minority, family-focused Autism 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Our mission is to provide education, support, advocacy, and empowerment, with an emphasis on self-care to families of those diagnosed with Autism,
Our vision is that all families receive individualized supports and education to access valuable resources and services that enhance the quality of life, that will break down barriers while addressing the disparities in our most marginalized communities.
